The furled spinnaker was raised at the dock with the furler control line run back to the cockpit on the starboard side. Afer rolling in the jib and checking that all lines were properly routed and free to run the spinnaker was unrolled and off we went. This was in 12-14 knots and we were easilly hitting 7kts at about 110 deg from the true wind. We could carry up to about 90 deg true in this wind. We could probably have gone higher with a tweaker on the spin sheet. That's typically a small snatch block or fairlead that is set on the sheet to pull it inboard and pull the clew inboard for a flatter set. In lighter wind (less than 6-8 kts true) we have carried it up to 55 or 60 deg true. In 12-14 a genoa would likely be a better choice at the higher wind angles.
