Close reaching in about 20 kts TWS. 20-25 degrees heel. You can tell there's a lot of heel because you see the horizon pop up at the left edge of the frame and because I am standing at the wheel with one foot out on the seat-back coaming to stay vertical.

Setting up wing-in-wing with theHoyt jib boom. We keep the main sheeted in and fall off to about 170 TWA then jibe the main over and let it out. This seems to work better than trying to ease the main and then jibe the jib.

Tacking with the hoyt jib boom in 15-18 kts TWS. You can see the horizin show up at the bottom of the frame which means were heeled over about 25 degrees.

Tacking with the Hoyt jib boom in about 7 knots of wind. A nice clean tack in light air. I recently made a rake adjustment to the mast. I moved the base 1/2" forward which moves the masthead aft by about 4". It improved the weatherhelm (which was a bit light) but the top batten just hits the backstay as can be seen in this tack..

Tacking and Jibing
This is a longer video with several tacks and jibes in 4-8 kts true wind. Boat speed was on the order of 3-4 kts. Maybe up to 4.5-5 where I didn't tack again so soon.

Tacking and Jibing
This is a 7 minute video with 10 tacks or jibes in 8-10 kts true wind. Boat speed was on the order of 4-4.5 kts. With a little more wind (12-14) the boat gets back up to speed a lot faster and these maneuvers are more lively. You can twirl about all you want without attention to trim, though that is a knock on optimum speed. The sun was not out for this one so it's not as easy to see how the boat is turning.
