Here's a list of Pearson 26 PHRF ratings from around the country. PHRF is Performance Handicap Rating Formula. It is a method of handicapping sailboats so that boats of different types may race together. There are many factors that affect a boats speed. These factors and actual performance data are used to establish a PHRF rating for a boat in a particular place. PHRF ratings change with location due to differing prevailing wind and sea conditions. A boat may have an advantage in light air. In regions with mostly light air these boats are handicapped to reflect that advantage (or at least that's the idea).
