The drawing here shows the sheeting angles at various points along the T-track installed on Pyxis and on the inner track I am thinking about adding. The sheeting angle is the angle between the centerline of the boat and the line from the sheet lead to the tack point of the sail. This drawing also shows position of the chainplate on the P26 and the P26OD. The P26OD chainplates are set about 4 inches further inboard then the standard P26. This is presumably to allow for a smaller sheeting angle. The factory inboard lead on the P26 is set at a 12 deg sheeting angle and an SD of 14.2'.
The table below shows the sheeting angles for the various headsails on Pyxis for the calculated sheetng distance (SD). The SD is a function of the dimensions of the sail.
