Hi y'all

Here from Texas

I will be un-stepping the mast on La Femme Mystique after my dentist
appointment tomorrow Thurs 12-06-01.

Intend to do this feat of rigging with the boat in the water using a 17'
ladder as a crane derrick guyed off aft and port and stbd. Being of
Scott's
decent I am loath to pay the $200 the yard has quoted to do the job.

Please wish me luck I will document the procedure in pictographic form and
for any who are interested will send evidence of the success or failure as
appropriate.

My old man God bless his sole was a rigger and taught me the principles of
the art as a boy!!!! God I hope I got it right!

Hey this was easy the first mate & I did the job in no time at all I
recommend using this method and putting the $200 to other better things for
the boat. I might even buy the first mate some flowers for her part in
saving the $200.
